HI, I’m EMY, the nannybot from the title story in the short story collection "The Seduction of Emy and Other Stories.” But no, these are NOT SCI-FI STORIES, though some contain near-future technology. For example, I’m a NANNYBOT, but not SEXBOT. Many of the stories do have some SEX, but only the right amount. Many stories have a fair dose of RELIGION too. But what’s any bunch of stories about the human train wreck without religion? PSYCHO-SPECULATIVE is how I would describe most of the stories in this 35-story collection. And oh yeah, there's lots of can-do, “won’t take it anymore” WOMEN in the stories, both human AND otherwise — like me, EMY.
